Based in Edmonton, Lisa’s practice also extends into the Northwest Territories.

Environmental and Regulatory
- Assists a large mining company in navigating the regulatory framework at municipal, provincial and federal levels.
- Represents landowners before the Alberta Utilities Commission with respect to the siting of transmission facilities.
- Assisted a large upstream oil and gas company with litigation related to a neighbouring property from historic operations (successfully settled prior to trial).
- Representing landowners with respect to impacts on property due to historic landfill sites.
- Assisted in the representation of a northern regulatory tribunal with respect to judicial review of its decisions (tribunal decision upheld at trial level but is currently under appeal).
Commercial Litigation (including collections)
- Assisted with a large class action involving the recovery of funds from defendants involved in a ponzi scheme.
- Represents a number of small and medium sized corporations in the collection of outstanding accounts including consulting firms, commercial landlords and commercial equipment lessors.
