The McLennan Ross tradition of effective, reasonably priced legal services began more than 100 years ago with the founding of Wallbridge & Cairns in Edmonton.
By World War II the firm had grown to 10 lawyers, including W.S. (Stan) Ross, the first of three generations of Rosses to serve under the firm's banner.
Growth continued after the war and in the early 1960's Rod McLennan's name was added to the firm's letterhead.
McLennan Ross opened offices in Calgary in 1996 and Yellowknife in 1999, expanding to serve clients across Alberta and the North.
