McLennan Ross is pleased to welcome Joyce Mitchell to the firm's Calgary office. Joyce joins the firm as a partner and she will be practicing in the area of labour and employment law. Prior to joining McLennan Ross, Joyce worked with a large national firm in the areas of labour, employment, privacy and human rights law. Joyce has an extensive background representing management side clients on a wide range of labour and employment matters including defence of wrongful dismissal claims, collective bargaining, collective agreement administration, disability management and duty to accommodate issues. She also assists clients in the development and implementation of employment, harassment, whistleblower and discipline policies. Joyce conducts harassment investigations on behalf of clients as well as an independent investigator. Joyce is a welcome addition to McLennan Ross where her strengths will compliment those of her colleagues in the firm.
