Ainslie Fowler

In the often sharp-elbowed practice of law, Ainslie is the rare lawyer who leads with kindness. A steadfast advocate for her clients’ interests, she views files through the lens of empathy. She appreciates that understanding not only her client’s objectives, but also those of the other side, often results in a more efficient and constructive resolution.

Ainslie’s practice is focused on insurance and risk management. She is experienced in advising and representing clients with respect to automotive accidents, property claims, liability opinions, coverage opinions, and first party claims. She has also participated in the defence of occupational health and safety prosecutions and prepared formal submissions for a public fatality inquiry.

In addition to providing timely, up-to-date, well-supported legal advice, Ainslie excels at representing her clients in the courtroom. She has appeared before the Provincial Court and the Court of King's Bench.

A genuine people person, Ainslie views her clients as humans with multifaceted needs, not just a legal problem. She considers both the legal and non-legal factors that are both at play in reaching their desired outcome. This approach has earned her a reputation as a trusted advisor and an effective advocate.

An engaged community member, Ainslie volunteers at Civil Claims Duty Counsel through Pro Bono Law Alberta and is a Board Member of Ballet Edmonton.
