Justine maintains a general practice in commercial and insurance litigation. She has experience in bankruptcy and collections proceedings and has navigated disputes on agreements amongst shareholders, commercial and residential lease agreements, and construction agreements. She is interested in professional liability matters and is keen to build upon the experience she has in this particular practice area. Justine has appeared in Alberta’s Court of Queen’s Bench and its Provincial Court and has assisted more senior counsel before Alberta’s Court of Appeal.

Justine is cognizant as to practicality and prides herself on delivering quality and timely professional services to her clients.

  • Crowe MacKay & Company Ltd. v Ferry, 2019 ABQB 574: Justine and senior counsel successfully defended individuals alleged to have been engaged in a conspiracy to defraud a Trustee in Bankruptcy.
  • 689799 Alberta Ltd. v Edmonton, 2018 ABCA 212: Justine and senior counsel successfully defended an appeal as to whether the Alberta Land Compensation Board had jurisdiction to consider settlement privilege.
