Anjali is an articling student in our Edmonton office. She studied law at the University of Alberta and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from the University of Alberta.

Before law school, Anjali worked as a Judicial Clerk with the Government of Alberta’s Provincial Family and Youth Court, where she supported courtroom proceedings, coordinated court schedules and drafted orders relating to child services and family matters. Her undergraduate studies also included placements in the Alberta Court of Justice, where she gained exposure to criminal proceedings and specialized courtrooms.

During law school, Anjali volunteered with Student Legal Services on criminal and family emergency protection order matters, gaining experience reviewing disclosure, communicating with clients and making court appearances. She has also been involved with the Youth Restorative Action Project, including as a board member and Restorative Justice Circle panel member.

Anjali speaks Gujarati, Hindi and Urdu fluently and conversational Spanish. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, hiking in Banff and Jasper, yoga, Harry Potter and Grey’s Anatomy.
