Chris Hinchcliffe

Chris is a student-at-Law in our Calgary office.

Chris earned his Juris Doctor at the University of Saskatchewan, College of Law. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Calgary, graduating with a major in Law and Society with Distinction. As an undergraduate, he made the Dean’s list and was awarded the Jason Lang Scholarship.

Chris' professional experience includes working as a Summer Student at McLennan Ross. He was responsible for drafting various legal documents including quantum of damages, statement of claim and defence, questioning summaries, and presentations. He was also involved in presentations, questioning, and legal research. Chris also worked as an Executive Assistant with Alberta Lawyers’ Assistance Society. In this capacity, he organized fundraising events and campaigns, and took on various administrative duties. Additionally, he has an extensive background in the automotive industry ranging from automotive technician to sales manager.

In law school, Chris served on the Law Students Association as a 2L Faculty Rep and co-founded the University of Saskatchewan Labour and Employment Law Club where he served as the Vice President.

Outside of law, Chris is an avid hockey fan with experience as a player and coach. He also enjoys baking sourdough bread, travelling, and Formula 1 motorsport.
