Yutian (Constance) Jiang

Constance earned her Juris Doctor at the University of Alberta and graduated from Beijing Normal University with her Juris Master. She previously earned a Bachelor of Economics from Sichuan Normal University.

Prior to arriving in Canada, Constance successfully passed the National Civil Law Examination of the People’s Republic of China, which is the Chinese equivalent to the Bar Admission Examination.

Constance’s professional experience includes working as a Legal Specialist. In her capacity as Legal Specialist, she represented the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Chengdu Branch and sub-branches in lawsuits as an in-house lawyer. She was responsible for supervising lawsuit-related work, analyzing statutes, researching legal precedents, and creating case reports for each file with an emphasis on risk analysis.

Active in her community, Constance’s volunteer experience includes working with Student Legal Services and Edmonton Immigration Services.

Outside of law, Constance enjoys running, swimming, and cooking. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Sichuanese.
