Constance is an enthusiastic and responsive bilingual advocate who strives to achieve her clients’ desired outcomes through a pragmatic, detail-oriented, and personable approach. 

Her practice focuses on commercial and insurance litigation, with experience in contractual disputes, debt recovery, enforcement and collection strategy, bankruptcy and insolvency matters, and risk management.

Constance also has extensive experience advising and supporting administrative decision-makers. She has worked closely with administrative boards and statutory decision-makers in assessing jurisdictional issues, preparing legal opinions, conducting complex legal research, and providing strategic recommendations. Her work has included developing decision templates to promote consistency and legal compliance, supporting informed decision-making, and representing administrative bodies in statutory appeals and judicial review proceedings.

Constance has appeared before the Alberta Court of Justice and the Court of King's Bench of Alberta, as well as administrative tribunals and appeal boards.

Prior to arriving in Canada, Constance successfully passed the National Civil Law Examination of the People’s Republic of China, the Chinese equivalent of the bar admission examination. Her professional experience in China included working as a Legal Specialist, where she supervised litigation matters, analyzed legislation and legal precedents, provided legal advice, drafted case reports, and focused extensively on risk management and dispute resolution.

Active in her community, Constance’s volunteer experience includes working with Student Legal Services of Edmonton, Edmonton Immigration Services Association, and Pro Bono Law Alberta.

She is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Sichuanese.
