His practice spans commercial litigation, municipal and government services, insurance defence, and bankruptcy, insolvency, and restructuring.
Corey has played a significant role in complex insolvency proceedings, particularly those involving oil and gas debtors, where he has represented municipal creditors in large scale, high stakes files. He has experience on matters involving planning and development, bylaw prosecution, and tax recovery. He also brings valuable litigation experience in insurance disputes, including acting as sole counsel for a property loss trial where he was successful in advancing a more favourable damages assessment for his client.
