Darryl Carmichael

Darryl is a Student-at-Law in our Calgary office.

Darryl earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary. He previously earned a Bachelor of Music, also from the University of Calgary.

While in law school, Darryl volunteered his time as a Caseworker for Student Legal Assistance. He managed client files and made court appearances for issues including domestic assault, mischief, and provincial and bylaw tickets. Darryl also served for two years as an Editor for the Alberta Law Review, playing an integral role in compiling and editing the quarterly publication which contains roughly 1,000 pages per volume. 

Darryl’s professional experience includes working as a Research Assistant for the University of Calgary. He was responsible for gathering research and drafting memoranda, as well as assisting with research and project work in Internet Law and policy.

Darryl also has experience working as a Summer Student with a Calgary law firm, where he regularly filed materials pertaining to matters such as divorce, special chambers, and other family court proceedings.

Outside of law, Darryl enjoys woodworking, strategy board games, and cycling.
