Bio
Jade is an articling student in our Calgary office. She studied law at the University of Calgary and holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society with a minor in Sociology from the University of Calgary. During her undergraduate studies, she also completed a semester abroad at Sciences Po Aix, taking political science, law and sociology courses in French.
Before law school, Jade worked as a legal assistant and office manager at a Calgary law firm. In that role, she supported client intake and office operations, led a team of assistants and trained new employees. Her experience working in a legal environment helped develop her interest in litigation and provided an early foundation in client service and practice management.
During law school, Jade volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada’s Consent Project and served as a student representative with the Intellectual Property Law Club. She has held several other student leadership and community roles, including serving as Vice President of the Law Society Students Organization and as an assistant karate instructor.
Jade is fluent in French. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, music and sports. She has completed Royal Conservatory piano to Level 9, plays guitar, collects antique records and enjoys competitive soccer and recreational softball.
