Jessica joins McLennan Ross as a Student-at-Law in the Edmonton office.
Jessica earned a Juris Doctor with distinction and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Conservation Science with distinction, both from the University of Alberta.
Before joining McLennan Ross, Jessica clerked at the Court of Appeal of Alberta.
During law school, Jessica gained practical experience which she now brings to her position as a student-at-law. She was Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Alberta Law Review, Chair of the Women’s Law Forum Philanthropy Committee, Vice President Events for Law Students for Human Rights, a caseworker with Student Legal Services, and a writer and editor for the student newspaper. She has experience working as a research assistant for two law professors, researching current topics in water law and housing law. During her third year, Jessica authored a book review which is published in the Banking and Finance Law Review.
Jessica received several awards for leadership and academic achievement throughout her legal studies, including the course prizes for the highest standing in Bankruptcy and Insolvency Law and Civil Procedure.
Currently, Jessica volunteers with the Women's Legal Education and Action Fund.
