Bio
Jessica is an articling student in our Edmonton office. She studied law at the University of Alberta and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology from MacEwan University.
Jessica brings a strong research background to her legal work. During her undergraduate studies, she completed grant-funded research and a two-year honours thesis examining hallucinogens and their anxiolytic effects in zebrafish. Her research experience included experimental work, data collection and analysis, and communicating complex findings.
During law school, Jessica volunteered with Student Legal Services, providing legal information and resources to members of the community. She has also volunteered as a peer support leader, research assistant and with Canadian Blood Services, and previously participated in a month-long childcare and English teaching program in Thailand. Her professional background includes several client-facing roles, including with Strathcona County and Aritzia.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys yoga, pottery, cooking and finding mid-century modern and vintage IKEA pieces.
