Joelle Vandenborre

Joelle is a student-at-Law in our Calgary office.

Joelle earned her Juris Doctor at University of Alberta where she was awarded the Edward Shoctor Bursary in Law. She previously earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree at St. Mary’s University, graduating with a Magna Cum Laude Honours in Psychology. As an undergraduate, she made the Dean’s list and was awarded the St. Mary’s Lightning Cross-Country Award. She also obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Oriental Languages and Cultures (Mandarin and Classical Chinese) from the University of Ghent.

While in law school, Joelle served as Moot Mentor and was actively engaged with the Student Legal Services.

Joelle is an active member of the Bow Valley community and passionate about the Rockies. She currently volunteers at various local running events and volunteers as a Trail Ambassador, guiding runs on Sundays. She also dedicates her time as an AHS Forensic Youth Mentor. In this role, she assists young offenders in their rehabilitation process.

In her spare time, Joelle is an avid backcountry skier, trail runner, and climber.

She is also fluent in Dutch and Spanish.
