Kyle excels at viewing matters from every angle, creating opportunities, and crafting solutions that achieve favourable outcomes for our clients. Client success is a driving principle that continually challenges him to adapt and evolve as a lawyer, advisor, and strategist.

With an interest in environmental and regulatory law, Kyle’s recent experience includes working on a complex matter pertaining to remediation for contamination from an oil well. He particularly enjoys the research aspects of law and is skilled in drafting effective documents, whether it is a memo, brief, or opinion. 

In Kyle, clients have a dedicated ally. An exceptional listener, he works with clients to understand the wider implications of any action taken and how best to solve an issue both in the short and long term. 

Prior to completing his Juris Doctor at the University of Alberta in 2020, Kyle earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, majoring in History with a minor in Business Economics. While at Notre Dame, Kyle was a four-year member of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish NCAA Division 1 Men’s Lacrosse Team. Kyle has been fortunate enough to represent Canada on the world stage as a member of the U19 and Men’s National Lacrosse Program, winning a silver medal in the 2012 U19 World Lacrosse Championships in Turku, Finland.

While completing his law degree, Kyle worked as a summer law student at McLennan Ross. He remained active in athletics throughout law school as a member of the Faculty of Law rugby and hockey teams.
