Macy is an articling student in our Calgary office. She studied law at the University of Calgary and holds a Bachelor of Management from the University of Alberta’s Augustana Campus.

Before law school, Macy worked as a research assistant with the University of Alberta and University of Victoria, contributing to research examining the role of First Nations Chiefs and building relationships with First Nations communities to support lived and oral history research. She also worked as a research and development summer student in the agriculture sector, where she conducted experiments and prepared reports on her findings.

During law school, Macy volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, presenting legal information on consent and sexual assault to high school students in plain language. She was also a representative with the Small and Regional Firms Society. Her previous volunteer work includes tutoring university students and helping new Canadians develop their English language skills.

Outside of work, Macy enjoys supporting local shops, workout classes and recreational basketball.
