Bio
Madisyn is an articling student in our Edmonton office. She studied law at Queen’s University and holds a Bachelor of Science with a specialization in Psychology from the University of Alberta, where she graduated with distinction.
During law school, Madisyn served as a Student Editor with the Canadian Labour and Employment Law Journal, where she developed her legal research and editorial skills through source checking, citation review and assisting with the publication of journal articles. Her interest in labour and employment law grew through this work. Before law school, Madisyn worked as a research assistant and editor with the University of Alberta’s Culture and Cognition Lab, contributing to research on the relationship between cultural frameworks and psychological processes.
Madisyn has also held leadership and client-facing roles, including as a shift manager at a golf club and as Vice President Internal with a University of Alberta student group. She previously volunteered with Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Outside of work, Madisyn enjoys baking, knitting, embroidery, reading, skiing and travelling.
