A skilled and transparent communicator, Matthew strives to set every client at ease with honest and direct legal advice.
His practice is primarily focused on employment litigation, human rights defence and insurance defence. Matthew assists medium to large-sized organizations with matters such as wrongful dismissal claims, employee terminations, human rights complaints, and day-to-day HR support.
Matthew uses his strong drafting skills to prepare employment agreements, termination packages, and employer policies for his clients, and relies on his strong advocacy skills to advance his clients’ interests in Court.
He obtained a Juris Doctor from the Faculty of Law of the University of Calgary in 2020. Prior to pursuing a legal career, Matthew worked in the textile and office solutions industry in management and sales, respectively.
