Sepand’s practice focuses on Insurance Defence and Commercial Litigation. He works with corporate and business clients in matters pertaining to class actions, directors' and officers' liability, professional liability, product liability, and construction. He is particularly adept at handling matters pertaining to contractual disputes (including risk management/strategy), bad faith litigation, and Cannabis law.

His wide breadth of experience, including working as a consultant to numerous start-ups and not-for-profits, allows him to identify untapped opportunities and deliver practical solutions tailored to clients’ unique business objectives.
Intellectually curious and committed to continuing education, Sepand completed his Masters in International Business Law while living and studying in France. He earned a certificate in Cannabis law at Osgoode Hall. Sepand has a working proficiency in French, having represented clients before the Provincial Court of Alberta in French proceedings. Additionally, he maintains oral proficiency in Farsi and elementary proficiency in Spanish.
