Yuvraj Singh

Yuvraj is an articling student in our Calgary office. He studied law at the University of Calgary and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Calgary.

Yuvraj has a strong background in research, community leadership and advocacy. As a lead researcher with the University of Calgary’s Werklund School of Education, he developed a research framework examining K-12 education policy and secured $13,500 in grant funding. He has also co-authored published research examining the gut microbiome and the use of machine learning in multi-omics data analysis.

Yuvraj has held leadership roles with several community organizations. He co-founded the FitKarwaan Foundation, where he helped raise more than $30,000 through grants, sponsorships and donations, and served as Secretary and Committee Chair with the Genesis Centre. He has also been involved with the Alberta Youth Parliament, the Calgary Police Service, Sikh Youth Calgary and youth debate programming.

Outside of work, Yuvraj is a Star Wars fan and enjoys soccer, cricket, tennis, squash and golf. He is also musically trained in several Western and Indian classical instruments and speaks Punjabi and Hindi.
