Zachary Dietrich

Zachary is a Student-at-Law in our Calgary office.

Zachary earned his Juris Doctor at the University of Alberta. He previously earned a Bachelor of Arts, Law and Society Degree from the University of Calgary.

While in law school, Zachary participated in moot competitions, winning a 2021 health law team moot contest. He also volunteered his time as a Criminal Law Project Case Worker and a Civil/Family Law Project Case Worker for Student Legal Services of Edmonton. In his capacity as Case Worker, Zachary assisted low-income individuals with minor criminal charges, including docket court appearances, trials, and sentencing hearings.

Zachary also took on a professional role with Student Legal Services of Edmonton as a Legal Education & Reform Dayleader. Notably, he was responsible for managing a human rights file with the Alberta Human Rights Commission as well as supervising students at outreaches and presentations throughout the academic year.

Outside of law, Zachary enjoys golfing, reading, attending concerts, and camping.
