Ron Kruhlak, K.C. Receives the Alberta Emerald Foundation's Lifetime Achievement Award
Please join us in congratulating Ron Kruhlak, K.C. on being awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by Alberta Emerald Foundation.
In honour of Ron and to mark its 35th anniversary, the Alberta Emerald Foundation renamed the Emerald Awards’ Lifetime Achievement Award to the “Ron Kruhlak Lifetime Achievement Award.”
This prestigious award will be presented to Ron at the Alberta Emerald Foundation Emerald Awards in Calgary on June 4, 2026. Founded in 1992, the Alberta Emerald Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing environmental excellence by recognizing Alberta’s visionary leaders and sharing best practices through compelling educational initiatives.
Ron’s contributions are deeply embedded in the Foundation’s history, from helping shape the original vision that led to its creation, including the recognition of environmental achievements across Alberta, to serving as one of the original signatories on its founding documents.
He also served 18 years on the Foundation’s Board of Directors, where his leadership helped establish the strong financial and governance framework that continues to support its impact today.
Ron’s longstanding commitment reflects the meaningful role our lawyers play in strengthening and supporting the communities we serve.
