EDUCATION
PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS, AFFILIATIONS AND COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES
Dan previously worked in-house with a large employer and was lead counsel on non-bargaining unit human resource matters, which involved him drafting agreements and providing termination, discipline, compensation, job classification and benefits advice. Dan also provided procurement expertise, acting as lead counsel on various procurements, including a $26,000,000 health service procurement.
Dan’s broad in-house experience coupled with his extensive litigation background makes him well suited to lead litigation and advise on a vast array of labour and employment matters and independent contractor agreements, procurement solicitation documents, and human resource policies. Most recently, Dan has acted as a third party investigator for a large institution and has been lead counsel in termination and selection/competition arbitrations.
