Christopher’s approach relies upon listening, identifying common ground, and working towards a resolution that best suits his clients. He is skilled at distilling complex legal concepts and relating information in plain language.
Christopher represents employers and businesses on matters related to all legal aspects of employer-employee relations, human rights complaints, and collective bargaining. Raised in Yellowknife, he is proud to have earned the trust of a variety of clients throughout the Northwest Territories and Nunavut, including individuals, small businesses, governments, Indigenous governments, insurers, and corporations.
Christopher also litigates matters on behalf of clients in matters before the Supreme and Territorial Courts of the Northwest Territories, the Nunavut Court of Justice, the Court of Appeal for the Northwest Territories, and the Federal Court of Canada.
In his highly nuanced area of practice, the resolution to an issue can often be found in the details. As a results-focused advocate, Christopher puts his extensive experience to work examining all the details in order to confidently assess and advise his clients on next steps.
While Christopher finds his work incredibly rewarding, he stills looks for ways to give back to his community. He is currently the Chair of the Labour an Employment Section of the Canadian Bar Association – Northwest Territories Branch (“CBA-NT”).
