Elisa believes in a client-first approach, which contributes to a keen understanding of her clients’ unique legal concerns.
Elisa practices in corporate commercial law and wills and estate law. Her corporate commercial work involves advising clients on the formation, organization, maintenance, and dissolution of corporations and not-for-profit entities. She assists businesses with corporate governance and ongoing compliance matters, and drafts, reviews, and negotiates various agreements.
Elisa represents clients in the purchase and sale of businesses, including asset and share transactions. She also provides support on mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and transaction documentation.
In her wills and estates practice, Elisa advises high net worth individuals and families on protection and transference of wealth, and preparation of estate planning documents. She also guides executors and families through the estate administration process, including probate and distribution of assets.
She earned her National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) Certificate of Qualification after completing the Internationally Trained Lawyer Pathway program at the University of Alberta Faculty of Law, which prepares lawyers educated outside the country to enter Canada’s legal profession.
