Sean Parker is an environmental and regulatory lawyer whose practice is grounded in his technical knowledge and practical industry experience. Before becoming a lawyer, he worked in environmental consulting—an experience that continues to inform his pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach to environmental and regulatory matters.
As Co-Chair of the firm’s Environmental and Energy Practice Group, Sean advises clients on a broad range of environmental issues arising from commercial transactions and litigation.
Sean regularly advises on environmental management projects, with a particular focus on brownfield redevelopment and contaminated site disputes. Sean defends regulatory enforcement actions and advises on processes related to obtaining governmental approvals and permits. He acts for a diverse client base—including multinational corporations, municipalities, government departments, small independent operators, and individual landowners. Sean combines technical insight with legal analysis to help clients navigate complex regulatory processes effectively.
Known for being innovative yet practical, Sean works closely with clients to understand their objectives and business priorities. He places a strong emphasis on efficiency and early-stage problem-solving, considering matters resolved through timely, practical solutions among his most meaningful successes.
