Prompt Payment Legislation in Alberta

McLennan Ross was proud to present an in-person seminar addressing the prompt payment legislation that has been proclaimed to take effect in August of 2022. This seminar was presented by Graham Henderson, Kathleen Garbutt, Marco Baldasaro, and Jennifer Davis, and moderated by Corbin Devlin.

The panelists reviewed significant changes to the legislation, outlined what all parties need to know when entering contracts under the new regime, and analyzed what we knew about the adjudication process at the time. A Q&A session followed the conclusion of the presentation.
